1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Social Listener ("Service"), operated by Aveosoft ("Company", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Social Listener is a social media monitoring and curation platform that allows organizations to track, collect, and analyze publicly available social media posts across multiple platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and news websites. The Service includes a web dashboard, mobile application, and automated content aggregation tools.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must notify your administrator immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Accounts are assigned to specific tenants (organizations) by administrators. Access is limited to the tenants you are assigned to.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to collect, store, or distribute private or non-public information.
  • Submit URLs containing illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
  • Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm any individual.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals.
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

  • The Service aggregates publicly available metadata (titles, descriptions, thumbnails) from third-party platforms. This content remains the intellectual property of its original creators and platforms.
  • You retain ownership of any notes, labels, or annotations you add to posts within the Service.
  • The Social Listener platform, including its design, code, and features, is the intellectual property of Aveosoft.

6. Connected Social Media Accounts

When you connect third-party social media accounts (Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) via OAuth, you authorize us to access your account data as permitted by the scopes you approve. You may disconnect any connected account at any time through the admin settings. Connected accounts are used solely to fetch content relevant to your organization's configured keywords and pages.

7. Employee Rewards

The Service includes an employee contribution and rewards system. Points are earned by submitting relevant URLs. Reward payouts are subject to administrator approval and your organization's internal policies. The Company reserves the right to modify the rewards structure at any time.

8. Data Retention

Social media post data is retained for a rolling 7-day period and is automatically purged thereafter. The Company is not responsible for data loss due to the automatic retention policy. Users should not rely on the Service as a permanent archive of social media content.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain Service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms and APIs. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective terms of service of each platform. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party platforms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Your organization's administrator may also remove your access. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gujarat, India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
